Margo Zeve | Founder
The founding of duo M was inspired by Margo Zeve’s passion for bold storytelling, big ideas, and a commitment to helping brands and interior designers tell more compelling stories. With a career spanning both agency and in-house roles, Margo brings a unique expertise in brand identity and creative storytelling, making her an exceptional extension of any in-house team. She has worked with a diverse range of companies in luxury retail, home, fashion, and lifestyle, connecting brands with audiences through authentic partnerships, inventive activations, and meaningful narratives.
Before launching duo M in 2020, Margo oversaw brand marketing for the direct-to-consumer dinnerware startup Year & Day in San Francisco. There, she led initiatives in PR, events, influencer relations, pop-ups, strategic partnerships, and content series development, helping shape the brand’s presence and identity.
Prior to Year & Day, Margo spent formative years on the in-house PR and Marketing team at RH (Restoration Hardware). She led communications strategies for RH collection launches, artisan partnerships, celebrity collaborations, and retail and hospitality experiences. Her role required close collaboration with C-Suite executives and leaders across Product Development, Merchandising, Interior Design, Copywriting, and Creative teams, solidifying her expertise in cross-functional leadership.
Margo began her career after graduating from the University of Washington, working in New York City at Valentino and LaForce (formerly LaForce + Stevens). There, she honed her skills in media relations, influencer engagement, and campaign execution while building a robust network across fashion and lifestyle industries.
Now based in Los Angeles, Margo draws inspiration from her experiences living in San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Albuquerque, and Pittsburgh. She enjoys cooking, fitness, hosting dinner parties, exploring all that LA has to offer, and traveling.
